In a land not so far, where the skies were bright, lived Mita the Mitten, a curious sight. She danced in drawers, and waltzed on the floor, defying all who said she’d be no more.
Mita was magical, oh yes indeed, with threads that glowed like a sunflower seed. When the weather grew cold, and snowflakes fell, she’d warm little hands and cast a spell.
“Swish, swish, swish,” she’d whisper at night, as she flew around, spreading delight. With each gentle touch, a smile would grow, making kiddies giggle, from head to toe.
But one chilly day, as she hopped and skipped, she found herself a bit ill-equipped. There was a rip, tiny but bold, that let in a draft, oh so cold.
“Oh dear, oh no,” Mita exclaimed, while struggling to keep herself aflame. Until one little friend, a clever young lass, thought of a way to fix her fast.
With needle and thread, she stitched with care, making Mita whole, a tiny repair. The mitten felt strong, all patched and neat, she wriggled her thumbs in utter feat.
“Thank you, thank you!” Mita did cheer, to everyone who helped her repair. “With warmth and love, I’m here to stay, keeping cold and sadness far away.”
And so, Mita danced, as joyful as can be, fluttering beside the largest tree. She’d say goodnight with a glow so grand, knowing she had friends to lend a hand.
When the moon was high, and stars did gleam, she’d sparkle and shine just like a dream. To all the kids in their cozy beds, Mita sent warmth that spread from head to head.
For Mita knew, as bright as daylight, with friends and care, all would be right. She'd laugh and sing, never to tire, in a land where kindness would not expire.
So remember Mita, the magical friend, whose love and warmth would never end. And if you find a mitten in need, a little care can help it succeed.
For every heart holds magic inside, to warm and cheer, far and wide. Just like Mita, always bright, spreading warmth through day and night.
