Mona the cat was happiest when she was at school, jumping like jellybeans and feeling so cool. With her fur so sleek and her eyes so green, she was the friendliest cat you’ve ever seen.
With her paws ready and her whiskers in a twirl, Mona loved to listen and chat with every boy and girl. She greeted everyone with a purr and a smile, making school a very cheerful place for a while.
One sunny Monday, the students had a surprise: a new rule had come to make everyone wise. Mona’s whiskers wiggled as she heard the news. She knew it could be fun, not something to refuse!
The rule was simple, easy as one-two-three: 'Always speak kindly, and words set us free.' Mona understood and she beamed with delight, for she knew kind words made everything right.
That day in class, Timmy felt quite blue. His block tower fell, and he didn’t know what to do. Mona walked over, her tail in a bend, 'Don't worry, Timmy. Let's build it again!'
Timmy’s frown flipped upside down, like a pancake in the air. With Mona’s kind voice, his troubles were light as air. They built the tower brick by brick, and soon they had it tall and slick.
During recess, Sarah’s ball was lost in the bushes. She sighed in despair as she heard the silent hushes. Mona trotted over swiftly, as quick as a blink, 'Let’s find it, Sarah. Together, we’ll link!'
Through the prickles and the leaves they searched high and low. With Mona’s help, they found it aglow. 'Thank you, Mona!' Sarah said with a cheer. Mona purred proudly, happy to hear.
At lunchtime, Mona shared her tale of the rule. 'When we speak kindly, we make school extra cool.' Her friends listened close, as her whiskers did sway, understanding the magic of words in their play.
The days went by and the rule spread around. Whenever someone needed help, kind words were found. Mona smiled wide, her heart filled with glee. She knew this was the best school rule, certainly.
So, in Mona’s school, with the new rule in place, everyone wore a smile on their face. Mona the Magnificent Cat knew this was right: it made her school days bright, from morning 'til night.
The end of the day, the sky turning gold, Mona dreamed of adventures yet to unfold. With kind words and hearts so true, Mona’s school became a place where happiness grew.
