It was a sunny morning. Tim woke up with a big smile.

Tim hurried downstairs and saw his mom in the kitchen. 'Good morning, Mom!' he said.

'Good morning, Tim! Breakfast is ready,' Mom replied, placing pancakes on the table.

Tim’s dog, Max, wagged his tail under the table. Tim gave him a piece of pancake.

After breakfast, Tim decided to visit his friend, Lisa. They lived on the same street.

Lisa was in her front yard, playing with her hula hoop. 'Hi, Lisa!' Tim called.

‘Hi, Tim! Want to play?’ Lisa asked, smiling. Tim nodded eagerly.

They played hula hoop for a while, then decided to go to the park.

The park was full of children. Tim and Lisa headed straight for the swings.

After swinging, they climbed the jungle gym. ‘Look, I’m on top!’ Tim shouted.

They played until lunchtime. Tim’s stomach growled loudly. It was time to head home.

Back home, Tim’s mom had made sandwiches. As he ate, Tim thought, ‘What a good day!’
