Onu was a tiny tot, full of pep and pep, pep, pep! He lived in a hut with his mom, Ma Strong, and his dad, Pa Bad. Onu just knew they named him Onu because he was *so* full of energy!
Onu loved the sun. He was a little sun-chaser! "Onu, you're such a little sun-seeker!" Ma Strong would say. One day, Onu decided to follow the sun. "I'm going on an adventure!" he declared.
"Onu, no!" called Pa Bad. But Onu was already out the door, chasing after the bright, round sun. He skipped and he hopped and he bopped along his way.
Onu walked and walked, past the giggling grass and the whispering willows. He met a wobbly frog on a log. "Hello, wobbly frog!" Onu chirped. The frog blinked, surprised by the friendly little boy.
"Have you seen the sun? I'm going on an adventure to find it!" Onu said to the frog. The frog shook its head and hopped away, back to its nap on the cool, green log.
Onu continued on his way, his little legs getting tired. He passed a field of bouncing bumblebees, their buzzing filling the air. "Hello, bouncing bumblebees!" called Onu. "Have you seen the sun?"
The bumblebees were too busy buzzing and didn't answer. Onu sighed. It was hard work, searching for the sun. He wished he had brought a snack.
Just then, Onu spotted something amazing. It was a frog, but not just any frog. This frog was enormous! It was bigger than Onu, bigger than his hut, bigger than anything he had ever seen!
"Wow!" Onu gasped. "You're the biggest, frog-a-licious frog I've ever seen!" The giant frog blinked down at Onu, its big, bulgy eyes like golden coins.
"Hello, little one," the giant frog rumbled. Its voice was deep and booming, like thunder. "What are you doing so far from home?"
"I'm looking for the sun!" Onu said proudly. "I'm going on an adventure!"
The giant frog chuckled, a sound like rocks tumbling down a hill. "But the sun is following you, little one," it said. "Look!" Onu turned around and there, peeking over the trees, was the bright, round sun. It had been following him all along!
Onu laughed, a happy, bubbly sound. He was tired and hungry, but he was happy. He had seen amazing things on his adventure. And the best part? The sun was going home with him!
