Once upon a time, in a small village in Japan, an old couple found a giant peach floating down the river. They were very surprised!
When they tried to eat the peach, it cracked open and a little boy jumped out! They named him Momotaro, which means Peach Boy.
Momotaro grew up to be strong and kind. One day, he decided to go to an island filled with naughty monsters to teach them a lesson.
Before he left, the old woman gave Momotaro some yummy dumplings to make new friends along the way.
As he journeyed, he shared the dumplings with a doggie, a monkey, and a pheasant. They decided to help Momotaro because he was so nice!
Together, they went to the island and found the monsters. Momotaro and his friends worked together to stop them from being naughty.
The monsters said they were sorry, and everyone became friends. Momotaro and his new buddies went back home, and they all lived happily ever after!
