Peppa Pig awoke to sunshine streaming into her room. Today was special, her first day at school!

She put on her red dress and her favorite black shoes. 'I look great!' Peppa smiled.

Downstairs, Mummy Pig had a hearty breakfast waiting. 'You need a good start,' she said.

Peppa nibbled her toast. 'What if I don't make friends?' she wondered aloud.

Mummy gave her a hug. 'Just be yourself, and you will be fine,' she reassured.

At school, Miss Gazelle greeted everyone. 'Welcome, students!' she beamed.

Peppa's eyes were wide with curiosity as she saw colorful pictures and big letters on the walls.

During circle time, Peppa sat next to a friendly elephant. 'I'm Emily,' she said, smiling.

Peppa whispered, 'I like your blue dress.' Emily giggled, 'I like your red one!'

For show and tell, Peppa brought her teddy. 'He's my best friend,' she told the class.

The children clapped, and Peppa felt a swell of pride. 'They like me,' she thought happily.

The bell rang, and school was over. 'See you tomorrow, Peppa!' her new friends cheered.
