Puppy woke up early. Today was the big day! It was his first day at school. He wiggled and waggled his way to the kitchen, excited for the adventure ahead.

Mama Dog packed a lunchbox. 'You'll make new friends,' she said with a smile. 'Just be yourself.' Puppy nodded. He felt a flutter in his tummy. Like butterflies were having a party.

Puppy trotted to the yellow school bus. 'Beep! Beep!' went the loud horn. 'Woof! Woof!' Puppy barked back. He hopped on and found a seat, looking around with big, curious eyes.

The bus zoomed and zipped down the lane. Puppy watched out the window as trees, birds, and squirrels zipped by. 'Zoom! Zoom!' went the bus. 'Woof! Woof!' answered Puppy.

When Puppy reached the school, he felt a bit shy. But then he saw other animals. 'Hi Puppy!' chirped a little bird named Tweety. Tweety had bright yellow feathers and a happy face.

'Let's play!' said Tweety. They ran through the playground, swinging and sliding with glee. Puppy’s tail wagged like a windmill, faster and faster.

Inside the classroom, Puppy met Teacher Turtle. She had a slow smile but a kind heart. 'Welcome to Animal School,' she said softly. Puppy liked her right away.

Teacher Turtle read a story about a brave snail. Snail was small but mighty. Puppy listened with wide eyes. 'You can do anything,' said Teacher Turtle.

Lunch was a picnic! Puppy and Tweety shared their snacks. Puppy had a bone-shaped sandwich. 'Yum!' he said, munching happily. Tweety had a bowl of seeds.

After lunch, Puppy and Tweety painted colorful pictures. Puppy painted the bus. 'Beep! Beep!' he laughed. Tweety painted a tall tree with nests.

When it was time to go home, Puppy felt happy but tired. 'See you tomorrow!' he called to Tweety. He hopped back on the bus, ready for a nap.

Mama Dog was waiting at the bus stop. 'How was your day?' she asked. 'It was great!' Puppy said, cuddling close. 'I made a friend named Tweety, and we had lots of fun!'
