Quinn the Quokka was a VERY bouncy buddy. He boinged up and dwn all day long!
He loved to bounce on his trampoline, sproing, sproing, sproing, with a HUGE grin!
"Whee! This is so much fun!" Quinn chortuld.
But, hiz neighbr, Ferdinand the Frilled-Neck Lizard, WAS NOT amused.
Ferdinand liked peace and quiet. He enjoyed reading books and sipping tea.
"Quinn!" Ferdinand hooted, "Yur bouncing is too nuisy!"
Quinn stopped boinging. He felt bad that he'd upset his friend.
Quinn REALLY liked bouncing, but he also REALLY liked Ferdinand.
What could he do? Quinn bounced over to Ferdinand to chat.
"Hey, Ferdinand, I'm sowwy fur being loud. What can I do?"
"Hmm," pondered Ferdinand, stroking his frill.
"How about you bounce over there, by the burbling brook?"
Quinn hopped over to the brook. It WAS kind of fun to bounce to the water's rhythm!
And Ferdinand got to read in peace. Hooray!
