Ratty the Rat sat with a shiny, red toy car.
He zoomed it here. He zoomed it there. All around his little chair.
Bunny, the Rabbit, hopped to Ratty, 'May I play with your toy car?'
Ratty shook his head. 'No, it's mine!' he said.
Quacky Duck waddled over. 'That car looks fun!' Quacky said.
But Ratty just frowned, 'It's only for one!'
Squeaky Mouse and Foxy too, asked to play. But Ratty knew, it's HIS toy, all day.
Days went by. Ratty would not share. His friends stopped asking. They didn't care.
One sunny day, Ratty saw fun. His pals were laughing, playing as one.
Ratty felt alone with his shiny, red car. Why was he playing solo and not with the far?
He rolled to his pals with his head hung low. 'I'm sorry,' said Ratty. 'Let's play. Let it go.'
Bunny, Quacky, Squeaky, and Foxy grinned. 'It's okay,' they chirped. 'Let the group play begin!'
Ratty learned a lot. 'Share your toys,' he thought. 'That's how you play with all the girls and boys.'
