Once upon a time, in a small town called Raindrop, there lived two best friends named Rayyan and Amal. Rayyan was 9 years old and in 4th grade, while Amal was 8 years old and in 3rd grade. They were both excited about starting a new adventure!

One day, Rayyan and Amal were told by their parents that they needed to get expanders to prepare their mouths for braces. They had mixed feelings about this. Rayyan and Amal looked at themselves in the mirror and smiled wide. Their teeth were straight and beautiful, just like their parents had promised. The discomfort and temporary challenges were worth it after all!
