Ryan walked over and said, 'Hi, I'm Ryan. Do you want to play?'
'Hi, I’m Peter,' the boy replied. 'I would love to play, but I don’t have shoes.'
Ryan looked at Peter’s feet and saw he was barefoot. Ryan felt sad for Peter.
‘Wait here!’ said Ryan. He ran home quickly and came back with a pair of basketball shoes.
‘These are for you,’ Ryan said, handing the shoes to Peter. Peter's eyes lit up.
‘Thank you so much!’ Peter exclaimed. He put on the shoes and they fit perfectly.
