Sammy the squirrel, small and bright, loved shiny coins that sparkled at night. ‘Cling! Clang!’ they’d sound, with all their might, under the silvery moonlight.
One day, a tumble of dimes fell from the sky, twirling and swirling, oh my, oh my! Sammy squeaked, ‘What a splendid sight! But wait, why do these dimes take flight?’
The coins chimed back, ‘We’re here to play! Join our merry dance, hip-hip-hooray!’ With a rustle and a scatter, they began to sway, leading Sammy in a joyous ballet.
Round and round the forest glade, Sammy spun in the dimes’ parade. They tumbled, they flipped, it was quite a parade! With each twinkle and jingle, Sammy’s worries did fade.
But then a golden penny, with a wise old gaze, floated down with a solemn praise. ‘Beware, Sammy dear, of the coins that daze, for money’s magic can lead to a maze.’
Confused, Sammy stopped and scratched his head. ‘What do you mean?’ he gently said. ‘These coins are fun, they make me glad!’ The penny sighed, ‘But it can also make you sad.’
‘Coins can buy you things, that’s true, but they can also control you!’ The penny danced in the air so blue, sharing its wisdom in every hue.
‘If you love them too much, you’ll lose your way,’ the penny swirled with a gentle sway. ‘Keep your heart light, come what may, and use coins wisely every day.’
Sammy pondered, then smiled bright, hugging the penny with all his might. ‘Thank you, penny, for your guiding light, I’ll remember your words, day and night.’
The dimes and coins chimed in delight, now dancing not for control, but for sunlight. Sammy joined them, heart light as a kite, knowing he’d keep his joy in sight.
From that day on, Sammy kept his treasure, using it wisely and at his own pleasure. The coins danced freely in perfect measure, a balance that brought Sammy boundless pleasure.
So remember Sammy’s tale so fine, with coins that danced in the moonshine. Use them well, let your heart shine, and joy will forever be thine!
