Once upon a time, there was a cute little squirrel named Scamp. He lived with his mother in the hollow of a tree, and his mother loved him very much.
Every day, Scamp's mother would go out to gather nuts and then come home to feed Scamp and play with him.
One day, while Scamp's mother was out gathering nuts as usual, a heavy storm came to the forest and it started to rain heavily.
Scamp's mother tried to run away and hide, but the storm was so strong that it swept her away from the house and she got lost in the woods. She couldn't find her way back home.
When the storm finally calmed down and the rain stopped, Scamp was waiting patiently for his mother to return. He was afraid and felt all alone.
Suddenly, he heard a noise outside. He cautiously put his head out and saw two squirrels that were much bigger than he was, but they didn't look mean.
The two squirrels were actually building a new house nearby. Scamp approached them and asked, 'Where is my mother?'
The female squirrel warmly replied, 'Hi, baby. Your mother got lost in the storm, but we will help you find her!'
Scamp felt relieved hearing those words. He knew he wasn't alone anymore and that he had new friends to help him. Together, they set off on an adventure to find Scamp's lost mother.
