In Dinoland, where trees were tall, there lived a dinosaur, shiny and small.

Her name was Shimmer, and she loved to play, but most of all, she loved to watch TV all day.

Wiggling, jiggling, as the screen would glow, she'd laugh and giggle, her joy in tow.

One fine day, the TV went 'pop!' Off went the power, causing Shimmer to hop.

'Oh dear!' she cried, 'What will I do? My favorite show, and the clock reads two!'

She ventured outside, to the bright, warm sun, where friends gathered round to have some fun.

There was Trixie the T-rex with a wide-toothed grin, and Spike the Stegosaurus ready to spin.

'Come join us, Shimmer!' they called with glee. 'Let's have an adventure, just wait and see!'

Shimmer hesitated, but soon she found, the outside world was a magical playground.

With each hop, skip, and jump she took, she learned life's fun's not just in a book.

Back home that night, with stars that did beam, Shimmer fell asleep to a wonderful dream.

Now Shimmer remembered, as she snuggled tight, the joy of friends and a world so bright.
