Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a beautiful princess named Aurora. She had long, golden hair and sparkling blue eyes. Aurora loved to play in the meadows and sing with the birds.
One day, an evil fairy named Maleficent became angry because she wasn't invited to Aurora's birthday party. Maleficent cast a spell on Aurora, saying that when she turned 16, she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep.
Aurora's parents were worried and tried to protect her. They ordered all the spinning wheels in the kingdom to be burned. But on her 16th birthday, Aurora discovered a hidden spinning wheel in an old tower. She accidentally pricked her finger and fell into a deep sleep, just as Maleficent had predicted.
Aurora's parents were heartbroken. They put her in a beautiful bed and surrounded her with flowers. The whole kingdom fell into a deep sleep too, waiting for Aurora to wake up.
After many years, a brave prince heard about the sleeping princess. He fought his way through the thorny bushes and reached Aurora's side. The prince kissed Aurora gently on the lips, and she woke up from her long sleep. The whole kingdom rejoiced!
