Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a princess named Snow White. She had skin as white as snow, rosy cheeks, and black hair that shone like the night sky.
Snow White's stepmother, the Queen, had a magic mirror. Every day, she would ask, 'Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?' And the mirror would answer that the fairest of all was the Queen, making her happy.
But as Snow White grew up, something changed. One day, the mirror said to the Queen, 'Snow White is the fairest in all the land.' The Queen became furious and decided to get rid of Snow White.
Snow White, frightened by the Queen's intentions, ran into the deep forest and found a tiny cottage. Inside lived seven kind-hearted dwarfs. They welcomed her and loved her as their own.
Meanwhile, the Queen devised a plan. She disguised herself as an old woman and offered Snow White a poisoned apple. Snow White took a bite and fell into a deep sleep.
