Once, in a cozy meadow so green, lived Little Bunny and Mole, always seen. They played near the pond, in sun, wind, and rain, and sang happy songs like a sweet and soft refrain.
Little Bunny was bouncing, so carefree and light. Mole dug funny tunnels, both morning and night. Then one day, oh dear, Mole's nose had a bump. He couldn’t dig anymore. Oh, what a lump!
"Don’t worry," said Bunny, with a hop and a dance, "We’ll find a new way to give digging a chance!" So they sat and they thought, 'neath the old willow tree, brainstorming ideas like friends should be.
Suddenly, Bunny shouted with joy, "We’ll dig with our paws, it’ll be fun, oh boy! We’ll make it a game, each turn is a treat, we'll dig softer for you, to save your little feet!"
So, together they dug, side by side, step by step. Mole felt so happy, no need to have wept. Little Bunny was careful, with each gentle paw, while Mole hummed a tune and felt quite in awe.
"Hurray, little friend! You’re so kind and so wise," said Mole with a beam that reached up to the skies. And Bunny just giggled, with a wiggle and twist, "Let’s dig to the mountain that's covered in mist!"
Through fields full of flowers and under tall trees, they stopped and they sniffed each fragrant, fresh breeze. They jumped over rocks and dug around logs, laughing out loud like froggy-tongued frogs.
At last, they reached the mountain, so grand and so tall, and dug through the mist, with no fears at all. 'Cause together they’d journeyed, with heart and with hand, understanding each other, like seas understand sand.
They learned that true friends listen and care, helping each other, when life isn't fair. With a pat and a hug, their adventures grew bright, all thanks to their bond, like stars in the night.
So remember, dear one, as you read and you play, the best friends will always find a way to stay. Just like Little Bunny and Mole, there’s no doubt, your heart will show you what friendship's about.
