Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Timmy. Timmy loved to shout and scream all day long. His parents would always tell him, 'Timmy, please use your inside voice!' But Timmy just couldn't help himself. Every day was a shouting day for him.
One sunny day, Timmy went to the park with his friends. They were playing on the swings and having a great time. But Timmy couldn't resist the urge to shout at the top of his lungs. 'Wheeeeeee!' he screamed as he swung higher and higher.
Suddenly, a wise old owl perched on a nearby tree branch. 'Timmy,' the owl said, 'Did you know that using your inside voice can be just as fun?' Timmy was surprised. He had never thought about it that way before.
From that day on, Timmy decided to give it a try. He started using his inside voice and discovered something amazing. People actually listened to him more when he spoke calmly and politely. He felt respected and heard.
Timmy realized that shouting wasn't necessary to get his point across. He learned that using his inside voice made him a better friend, a better student, and a better person. And from that day forward, Timmy never shouted again.
