Once upon a time in a small town, there was a boy named Mateo. He dreamed of being an astronaut, but he had never seen the stars. Mateo asked his abuela, "How can I be an astronaut if I've never seen the stars?"
Abuela smiled and said, "Let's build a rocket to reach the stars!" Mateo and Abuela gathered supplies and worked for days. Finally, they finished their amazing cardboard rocket, complete with painted stars and glitter!
That night, Mateo and Abuela sat in their rocket and closed their eyes. Abuela said, "Imagine the stars!" Mateo imagined the twinkling lights, feeling like he was floating among them.
The next day, Mateo was filled with excitement. He said, "Abuela, I might not have seen the real stars, but I saw them in my dreams! That's what astronauts do when they go to sleep, right?"
Abuela hugged Mateo and said, "Yes, and one day you'll see the real stars too. Until then, keep dreaming and believing in yourself." Mateo nodded, knowing that he would always keep reaching for the stars.
From that day on, Mateo would sit outside every night and look up at the sky, imagining himself flying among the stars. And though he hadn't seen them yet, he knew in his heart that one day he would be among them as a real astronaut.
And so, with each passing night, Mateo's dream grew stronger. And as he looked up at the sky, he knew that the stars were waiting for him to join them on a grand adventure in outer space.
