Katten og Hønen

Once upon a time, there was a house with a cat and a hen. The cat thought it was the boss of the house because it could catch mice. The hen thought it was the boss because it laid eggs. They always argued and fought to be the boss. Engang var der et hus med en kat og en høne. Katten troede, det var husets chef, fordi den kunne fange mus. Hønen troede, det var chefen, fordi den lagde æg. De skændtes altid og kæmpede for at være chefen.

One day, the cat and the hen decided to have a competition to see who was the better boss. The cat tried to catch as many mice as it could, while the hen laid as many eggs as it could. They worked hard to prove themselves. En dag besluttede katten og hønen sig for at holde en konkurrence for at se, hvem der var den bedste chef. Katten forsøgte at fange så mange mus, den kunne, mens hønen lagde så mange æg, den kunne. De arbejdede hårdt for at bevise sig selv.

After a day of hard work, the cat and the hen compared their results. The cat had caught 5 mice, but the hen had laid 10 eggs. Both of them were proud of their achievements and thought they deserved to be the boss. Efter en dags hårdt arbejde sammenlignede katten og hønen deres resultater. Katten havde fanget 5 mus, men hønen havde lagt 10 æg. Begge var stolte af deres præstationer og mente, at de fortjente at være chefen.

They couldn't agree on who should be the boss, so they asked the other animals in the house for their opinion. The dog said the cat should be the boss because it kept the house free of mice. The cow said the hen should be the boss because eggs were important for breakfast. De kunne ikke blive enige om, hvem der skulle være chef, så de spurgte de andre dyr i huset om deres mening. Hunden sagde, at katten skulle være chef, fordi den holdt huset fri for mus. Koen sagde, at hønen skulle være chef, fordi æg var vigtige til morgenmad.

The cat and the hen realized that they both had important roles in the house. They decided to be co-bosses and work together. The cat would catch mice and the hen would lay eggs. They lived happily ever after, knowing that both of them were special. Katten og hønen indså, at de begge havde vigtige roller i huset. De besluttede at være medbosser og arbejde sammen. Katten ville fange mus, og hønen ville lægge æg. De levede lykkeligt til deres dages ende, vel vidende at de begge var specielle.
