Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a clever parrot named Polly. Polly could talk and understand people's words. One day, Polly flew into the garden of a little boy named Timmy.
Timmy was surprised to see a talking parrot in his garden. Polly said, 'Hello, Timmy! I can teach you new words and their meanings. Would you like to learn?' Timmy's eyes sparkled with excitement, and he eagerly nodded yes.
Polly started with simple words like 'cat' and 'dog.' She pointed to Timmy's pet cat and said, 'This is a cat. Cat says meow.' Timmy repeated after Polly and petted his cat as he said, 'meow.'
Next, Polly taught Timmy about 'tree' and 'bird.' She pointed to a tall tree in the garden and said, 'This is a tree. Birds live in trees.' Timmy listened carefully and watched as a little bird hopped from branch to branch.
Every day, Polly and Timmy learned new words together. Polly taught Timmy about 'flower,' 'butterfly,' 'sun,' and 'rain.' Timmy loved learning and was always eager to listen and understand.
One day, while they were learning about 'kindness,' Timmy noticed his little sister crying. He quickly went to her and gave her a hug. Polly smiled and said, 'Timmy, you showed kindness by comforting your sister. Well done!'
Polly taught Timmy that listening is important. She said, 'When we listen carefully, we can understand others and learn new things. Good listening helps us be kind and helpful.' Timmy nodded and hugged Polly to show how much he had learned.
Timmy's parents were amazed at how many words Timmy knew and how kind and helpful he had become. They thanked Polly for being such a wonderful teacher. Polly flapped her wings happily, knowing she had made a difference.
