Once upon a sunny seaside shore, there lived a kind fisherman named Finn. Finn loved to sing as he cast his nets, 'Fishy, fishy, in the sea, come and play, come to me!'
One bright morning, Finn felt a mighty tug on his net. 'What a catch!' he exclaimed. But to his surprise, there was a shimmering fish with golden scales in his net.
'Please, kind fisherman, let me go,' said the fish. 'I am a prince under a spell, and if you set me free, I will grant you a wish!'
Finn, with a heart as big as the ocean, released the prince-fish back into the water. 'Off you go, little prince!' he said with a smile.
At home, Finn’s wife, Freya, heard the tale. 'Oh, Finn! Ask the fish for a grand house!' she requested eagerly.
So, back to the sea, Finn sang his call, 'Fishy, fishy, in the sea, could you come and talk with me?'
Splash! Out leapt the fish, shimmering like a sunbeam. 'Your wish is my command,' the fish proclaimed.
With a swish of its tail, Finn and Freya’s small house transformed into a grand, sparkling mansion. 'Wow!' they both gasped in delight.
But as days turned into weeks, Freya became greedy. 'We need more! I want everything!' she demanded.
One stormy night, the wind howled and the waves crashed. Suddenly, the mansion was gone! Freya and Finn were back in their cozy cottage.
'Maybe, just maybe,' thought Finn, 'we had all we needed all along.' And so they lived happily ever after, with hearts full of gratitude.
And sometimes, if you listen close, you might hear Finn's song on the breeze, 'Fishy, fishy, in the sea, thank you for setting us free!'
