At one pond, the sun smiled down. Splash! A family of Astigmatians was playing.
Mama Astigmatian called, 'Time to play tag!' The little Astigmatians cheered.
Giggles filled the air. Papu was 'it'. He chased them with tickling fingers.
Bloop went Tiny, diving under. 'Can't catch me!' she squeaked, swimming fast.
Pip and Pop played in the reeds. 'Hide!' whispered Pip. They giggled quietly.
Papu found them! 'Gotcha!' he laughed. Pip and Pop jumped and ran.
Tiny popped up. 'Here I am!' She swam to Mama with a splash.
Mama hugged them. 'Well played, my dear!' She kissed their green cheeks.
Now hungry from play, they munched on pondweed pies. Yum! So tasty!
Tired eyes blinked slowly. 'Naptime,' Mama said softly, tucking them in.
They dreamt of playing tag. In dreams, they swam with rainbow fish friends.
The pond rested quietly. The Astigmatian family slept, smiling in the sun.
