The Happy Pigeon

It was summer. There was a pigeon who was always happy. He loved to fly around and play with his friends. But one day, the heat became so extreme that all the lakes and ponds dried up. The pigeon was very thirsty and desperate for water, but he couldn't find any anywhere.

The pigeon flew all over the place, searching for water. He flew to the park, to the forest, and even to the city. But everywhere he went, he found the same thing: dry lakes and empty ponds. The pigeon was starting to lose hope.

As the sun beat down on him, the pigeon grew more and more thirsty. He was so desperate that he started to hallucinate. He saw a picture of a glass of water on a wall, and he thought it was real. He flew towards the picture and pounced on it with all his might.

The pigeon crashed into the wall and broke his wings. He fell to the ground and lay there helplessly. After some time, a kind little girl saw the injured pigeon and rushed to help him. She gently picked him up, gave him some water, and took him to a vet.
