In the sunny Sahara, under the big blue sky, lived a little camel named Carl. Carl was cuddly, Carl was cute, but Carl was oh so lazy!
Every day, Carl would yawn and say, 'I don't want to grow, I just want to stay, in my cozy little spot, and sleep all day.'
One sunny morning, while the sand sparkled like gold, Carl’s mother said, 'Carl, you need to rise! The world is a beautiful place with lots of surprise.'
'Oh, Mother,' Carl groaned, 'the world's too yawny, I prefer my dreams; they're sweet and brawny.'
Carl’s mother sighed and gave him a nuzzle. 'Carl, you need to use your muscle! Little camels must roam and explore, not stay in one place, being bored on the floor.'
But Carl just muttered and returned to his nap. 'I don't want to roam, I don't want to move a flap!'
That evening, Carl's friend Lenny the lizard came by. 'Carl, you're missing the fun, the sky’s full of stars. Let’s go on a walk, let's go to Mars!'
Carl peeked one eye open and sighed with a huff, 'I’d rather just sleep, the stars are too tough.'
Lenny didn't give up and said with a grin, 'Come, lazy Carl, adventures begin!' Carl shook his head and said, 'Fun is for those, who don’t love their bed.'
One night, as Carl dreamt of clouds and cream, a whispering wind brought an enchanting gleam. It sang, ‘Oh Carl, dear Carl, open your eyes, the world is waiting, filled with surprise!’
Carl opened his eyes and looked at the moon, ‘Maybe the world is more than a snooze. Tomorrow I’ll try, with no excuse.’
The next day, with bright spark in his eye, Carl stepped out, ready to try. He found the desert was ready to play, filled with magic in every way.
