In the green grassy meadow, Pup opened his eyes.

Pup looked around. He could not see Mom.

Pup barked, 'Mom! Mom!' But only Bird heard him.

Bird flew down. 'I can help,' Bird tweeted.

Pup and Bird looked near the pond. No Mom.

They looked by the oaks. Frog leaped high.

'Have you seen Mom?' Pup asked Frog.

'No, but let's look by the rocks,' Frog ribbited.

Rabbit hopped out as they searched by the rocks.

Rabbit had not seen Mom. 'Try the hill,' Rabbit said.

Up the hill, Pup, Bird, Frog, and Rabbit went.

There on the hill was Mom! Pup ran to her.
