In the ocean so blue, lived a mermaid who knew, a world full of magic, and wonders that grew.
Her name was Marla, with hair like the sun, she danced with the dolphins, oh what fun!
She swam with a swish and a splash, each day, exploring the reefs in her own little way.
With each little bubble floating up to the top, she giggled and gurgled, she just couldn't stop!
One day she met a crab named Clyde, who showed her a secret, that none could hide.
A cave full of wonders, and treasures so bright, they gleamed and they glimmered, oh what a sight!
"Oh Marla," said Clyde with a wink and a wave, "This is the start of an adventurous rave!"
They swam through the seaweed, past ships that had sunk, hearing the echoes, 'kerplunk' and 'kerplunk.'
Past jellyfish jiggling and starfish that shone, they tumbled and turned till they found a new zone.
A sea dragon sleeping on treasures of old, Marla stepped softly, feeling quite bold.
With her heart oh so brave, she touched the dragon's nose, it opened its eyes, and the magic arose.
The dragon smiled wide and said with a roar, 'I grant you a wish from the ocean's deep core!'
Marla wished for a garden, with flowers so bright, under the water, oh what a sight!
And from that day forth, in the sea full of grace, Marla had magic, to brighten her place.
So remember dear child, with a heart full of cheer, adventure and wonder are always near.
