In the lush green forest, there was a little grey monkey with twinkling brown eyes. He was playing with a shiny red toy car.
The leaves rustled, and a small brown rabbit hopped over. She asked the monkey, 'Can I play with you?' But the monkey said, 'No!'
Feeling sad, the fluffy rabbit hopped away. She found a sunny spot and had fun playing with a yellow ball and other forest animals.
The next day, the monkey came to the same spot. His friend, a pig, pink and plump, walked over and grinned, 'Can I play with you?'
The monkey scrunched his nose. 'No, you're all dirty. My toys will get dirty too.' The pig's smile faded, and she left quietly.
Later, a clever fox with a bushy orange tail saw the monkey alone. 'I'll play with you,' said the fox. But the monkey didn't trust him.
Alarmed, the monkey shouted, 'Go away! You'll steal my toys!' The fox's ears drooped, and he walked away, his heart heavy.
The next morning, the monkey saw the rabbit, the pig, and even the fox playing together. They laughed and shared and looked happy.
Feeling alone, the monkey watched them. He saw the joy in sharing. With a hopeful smile, he asked, 'Can I play with you all?'
The animals looked at each other. Despite yesterday, they nodded and smiled. 'Come, let's all play together!' said the rabbit.
The monkey was glad. They all played with the toys. Moreover, he learned that toys were more fun when everyone played together.
From that day on, the monkey, the rabbit, the pig, and the fox were the best of friends, playing and sharing every day.
