Once, in the small town of Sunnyville, Miss Ruby's necklace went missing.
Miss Ruby was sad. Her necklace was special, a gift from her grandma.
Sam and Alex, two brave kids from across the street, decided to help.
They asked Miss Ruby when she last saw her shiny necklace.
She pondered and said, 'I wore it at the fair and it was around my neck at home after.'
They sketched a map of the fair and marked Miss Ruby’s house.
They decided to search the path from the house to the fairground.
Under the cotton candy stand, they found a sparkling chain.
They asked the candy man, who recalled seeing a sparkly object.
Sam noticed the clasp was broken, "Maybe it fell off Miss Ruby’s neck."
With a broken clasp found, they decided to return to Miss Ruby.
Miss Ruby was overjoyed. She never knew the clasp was loose!
Sam and Alex were heroes, and Miss Ruby promised to fix the clasp right away!
