One sunny day, Lily, Max, and Sam found a shimmering portal behind the old oak tree.

They stepped through and gasped. Bright flowers and talking animals greeted them.

A challenge arose when a stream blocked their path. Lily spotted stepping stones.

Lily led across with jumps. "Follow my lead!" she called out bravely.

On the other side, a puzzled owl needed help to find his glasses.

Max's keen eyes found them on a branch. "Here you go, Mr. Owl!"

The owl hooted gratefully. The friends beamed with pride and waved goodbye.

Sam heard rustling. A rabbit was stuck under a log. Time to help!

Using a stick, Sam lifted the log. "Hop out, little friend," he encouraged.

The rabbit hopped free and did a happy dance. "Thank you!" it cheered.

The friends met more magical creatures, their confidence growing with each one.

The sun set, painting the sky. They waved goodbye and returned home.
