In a town full of cheer, lived a young man named Mick, with a smile that could make anyone tick. He wore a helmet, a leather jacket so sleek, jeans, and boots—he looked ever so chic!
Mick's pride and joy was his big, shiny black bike. It roared 'Vroom! Vroom!' and left trails in its hike. He loved riding through hills and winding roads, breathing in freedom, feeling like a toad.
With skies so blue and the sun's golden ray, Mick set off on a bright summer's day. Round and round, up and down, through mountains he sped, wearing his helmet upon his head.
He zipped and he zoomed, feeling the fresh air, when something quite curious gave him a scare. A squirrel named Nutty, with fur so soft brown, ran across the street, almost causing a frown.
Mick swerved to the left, then swerved to the right, kept his balance with all of his might. 'Phew!' said Mick, 'That was sure close! Let's find a safe place; there's no need to boast.'
He found a small glade, quiet and neat, where he sat by a stream on a cool grassy seat. Nutty scampered over, curious and keen, wanting to know what Mick might have seen.
Mick shared his tales of the towns and the lanes, adventures so grand it would boggle your brains. Nutty listened with eyes open wide, dreaming of journeys where he'd be the guide.
With laughter and chatter, the day wore on, their friendship growing with each silly song. Mick promised Nutty, 'You’ll come with me someday, we'll ride far and wide and come what may.'
The sun started setting, painting skies pink and red. 'Time to head home,' Mick finally said. Nutty nodded, eager but shy, dreaming of roads stretching far to the sky.
Mick hopped on his bike with Nutty on his shoulder, revving his engine, feeling much bolder. Through winding roads and twisty bends, went Mick and Nutty—new best friends.
As the stars twinkled above in the night, they rode through the mountains feeling just right. Two pals on a bike, in a world full of cheer, ready for adventures, year after year.
So if you hear a 'Vroom! Vroom!' one day, and see a squirrel who seems to say 'Hooray!' know it's Mick and Nutty, out on a spree, exploring the world, as happy as can be.
