Once upon a time, in a small village, there was an old train station that everyone thought was empty. But a brave little girl named Emily, with hair as red as autumn leaves, wanted to see if the stories about it being haunted were true.
Emily snuck out after bedtime with her flashlight, her heart thumping with excitement. The moon was full and bright, casting shadows as she tiptoed to the abandoned Whistlewood Station.
The station looked spooky but beautiful. Old posters fluttered on the walls and an owl hooted somewhere. Suddenly, the ticket window creaked open! 'Hello?' Emily whispered, but only the echo of her voice replied.
As Emily explored, she heard a soft whistle. To her surprise, a friendly ghost train appeared! It was shy and seemed lost. 'Do you need help to find your way home?' Emily asked.
The ghost train nodded and together, they found an old, dusty map in the ticket office. It showed a secret track that the ghost train had forgotten. 'Let's find it!' said Emily, determined to help her new friend.
They followed the map through the woods, over a bridge, and found a hidden track! The ghost train whistled happily and chugged onto the track, fading into the night, but not before it thanked Emily.
Emily raced back to her bed just as the sun peeked over the horizon. 'What a night!' she thought. 'Wait til I tell my friends!' And with that, she closed her eyes, the images of her adventure dancing in her head.
