The Rabbit and the Tortoise: A Race to Remember

In a sunny meadow, Rabbit bragged to all his friends, 'I'm the fastest runner ever!'

Gray fur, long-eared, overconfident, red eyes boasting in the meadow, friends gathered around.

Tortoise said slowly, 'Speed isn't everything, Rabbit.'

Green shell, wise, determined, brown eyes speaking wisely, questioning Gray fur, long-eared, overconfident, red eyes's claim.

Laughing, Rabbit challenged, 'Let's have a race then!'

Tortoise agreed. 'All right, Rabbit. We race tomorrow.'

Green shell, wise, determined, brown eyes accepting the challenge calmly, deciding on a race time.

The next day, animals lined up to watch the big event.

With a loud cheer, the race began. Rabbit dashed ahead!

Race starts with cheers, Gray fur, long-eared, overconfident, red eyes takes a quick lead.

Rabbit thought, 'I'm too fast! I'll rest and still win.'

Meanwhile, Tortoise kept walking, slow and steady.

When Rabbit woke, Tortoise was nearing the finish line!

Rabbit ran as fast as he could, but it was too late.

To everyone's surprise, Tortoise crossed the finish line first.

Tortoise said, 'Slow and steady wins the race', as Rabbit apologized for underestimating him.
