Once upon a time, in a world of living things, on Halloween night, a skeleton knight appeared, so lean and mean. With clinks and clatters, he rode his steed, visiting towns and forests, planting pumpkin seed.
The skeleton knight did a dance, shaking his bones, causing wild peacocks to prance. His laughter echoed through the air, scaring foxes hiding in their lair.
But when the clock struck midnight, the world of living things began to lose its bright. The skeleton knight realized, with a fright, that his way back home was out of sight.
He searched high and low, to and fro, asking bats and owls which way to go. But the living world closed its gate, leaving the skeleton knight in a desperate state.
So the skeleton knight decided to stay, and make the world of living his forever to play. He joined the creatures in Halloween cheer, every year on October thirty-one, the knight reappears.
And so the legend goes, of the skeleton knight in his flashy clothes, now part of Halloween's frightful delights, forever roaming under the October moon's spooky lights.
