On a sunny day, under the bright blue sky, a tiny snail was sunbathing with a sigh.
Along came a bird, with a mischievous beak, looking for a treat, bold and sleek.
The bird pecked once, pecked twice, and oh my! The snail closed its shell, not shy.
The snail, quite clever, thought of a trick, and bit the bird's beak oh so quick!
The bird squawked, 'If it doesn’t rain today, if it doesn’t rain tomorrow, the snail will surely dry!'
The snail smiled as much as a snail can and replied, 'If your beak stays stuck, you’re in a jam!'
Neither did they budge, neither did they move, tangled in a dance, like a groove.
Then came the fisherman with a net and a grin, caught the odd duo, putting them in.
In a splashy splash and a swoosh swoosh, they were taken away by the babbling brook!
The moral of the tale in this funny fray, is to live in peace and find your way.
