It was a sunny day when Sarah and her family decided to go to McDonalds for lunch. Sarah was excited because she loved the Happy Meal toys. The restaurant was full of people and the smell of french fries made Sarah's mouth water.
As Sarah waited in line with her family, she started feeling nervous. There was a tall man in front of her wearing a scary mask. He ordered his food and left. Sarah felt relieved, but then noticed a black cat sneaking around the corner.
When Sarah got her Happy Meal, she couldn't wait to open it and see which toy she got. But as she opened the box, a spider jumped out! She screamed and dropped the box, making everyone in the restaurant turn to look at her.
Sarah's dad quickly helped her pick up the toy and assured her that everything was okay. Sarah took a deep breath and decided not to let the scary experiences ruin her lunch. She sat down at a table and started eating her chicken nuggets.
Just as Sarah started to relax, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw the tall man from earlier, now without the scary mask. He smiled and said, 'I'm sorry if I scared you earlier. I was just wearing a costume for a party. Can I sit with you?'
Sarah nodded and the man sat down. He told Sarah that he loved Halloween and scary things, but he understood that not everyone enjoyed them. They started talking about their favorite movies and toys. Sarah realized that the man was actually very friendly.
After finishing their lunch, the man thanked Sarah for being kind and understanding. Sarah felt proud of herself for not judging someone based on their appearance. As the man left, he gave Sarah a small toy as a token of their new friendship.
From that day on, Sarah learned that it's important to have confidence in herself and to not judge others too quickly. Even in scary situations, she knew that she could handle them with bravery and kindness.
Sarah went back to McDonalds many times, but she never had another spooky surprise. She enjoyed her meals and toys without any fear, always remembering the valuable lesson she had learned.
