It was a day so nice, the birds sang twice!
Even the grumpy old tree, usually a grump, you see,
Decided to sway and sway, in a most delightful way!
But high above the happy land, the sun felt rather grand.
"I make this day so bright!" he boomed with all his might.
"The credit, it is mine! I make the flowers shine!"
The clouds, they puffed their cheeks, "Such boasting!" someone shrieked.
A little ladybug, red as a ruby, whispered, "Oh, sunny hubbub!"
"We all play a part, right from the very start."
"The rain, it helps us grow, the wind, it helps us flow."
The sun, he squinted down, with a puzzled, sunny frown.
He listened to the chirping breeze and the rustling of the trees.
He felt the warmth he made and the happy dance it played.
"Hmmm," the sun said low, "Perhaps, it's not just my show."
And with a gentle, golden beam, he whispered, "Shhhh... let's share the dream."
From then on, the sun knew, sharing joy was the thing to do.
For a day so nice, is made by everyone, not just the sun!
