Two Mr. Lengs, oh so spry, with mischief in their eyes, decided one day to do something quite bold. They'd hike Mount Magma, a volcano so old, and snatch some dragon eggs, or so the story's told!
The first Mr. Leng, with a skip and a hop, declared, "Let's be quick, before the lava makes us plop!" The second Mr. Leng, with a grin and a wink, said, "We'll be back by noon, with treasures that will clink!"
Up Mount Magma they went, step by step, past bubbling mud pits where hot springs did pep. The air grew thick, the ground a fiery red, yet the Lengs marched onward, no fear or dread!
They reached the top, where smoke billowed high, and spied a cave, with a fiery eye. Inside, a dragon, with scales of jade green, guarded her clutch, a magnificent scene!
The first Mr. Leng, with a whistle and a whoop, tiptoed closer, hoping to make a quick scoop. But the dragon awoke, with a roar and a hiss, and blew a plume of fire, what a near miss!
The second Mr. Leng, nimble and swift, dodged the flames, with a joyous, "My, oh, my!" He pulled his friend back, away from the heat, shouting, "Let's retreat, dragon breath isn't sweet!"
The dragon, angered, gave chase with a bound, her emerald scales shimmering all around. The Lengs ran fast, as fast as they could, their little legs pumping, through ash and through wood!
They dodged and they weaved, with a shout and a cheer, the dragon's fire trailing awfully near! Through steaming vents and rumbling ground, a dangerous playground, no turning around!
Finally, exhausted, the dragon did tire, her fiery breath waning, replaced by a sigh. She lumbered back home, to her cave up so high, grumbling and mumbling, under the fiery sky.
The two Mr. Lengs, safe at last, knew their plan had been a blast! Though they returned home with no eggs that day, they had quite a tale, of their daring display!
Back in their village, a tale they did tell, of their encounter with the dragon's hot spell! And though some may scoff, and others may doubt, the Lengs had their story, there was no living without!
So remember this tale, of courage and wit, of two Mr. Lengs, who took a daring flit! And though they failed, their bond grew more deep, for adventures shared, are secrets to keep!
