Once upon a time in a beautiful garden, there was a very hungry caterpillar named Carl. He had a big belly and loved to munch on crunchy leaves all day long.
One sunny morning, Carl crawled out of his cozy cocoon and felt a rumble in his tummy. He snacked on a scrumptious strawberry, but his hunger wasn't satisfied.
Next, he chomped through a crunchy cucumber, but still felt ravenous. So he wiggled and wriggled towards a watermelon, and he munched and crunched until he felt full and happy.
Suddenly, Carl heard a hum and a buzz, and he spotted a friendly butterfly fluttering by. He joined in the fun, soaring and swirling through the sunny sky.
But as the day turned into night, Carl realized he was no longer a tiny caterpillar, but a wonderful, wondrous butterfly, free to fly and flutter and frolic forever more.
