One day, Kavi's teacher told him about the importance of detachment. He said, 'Detachment means letting go of things we don't need and finding contentment within ourselves.'

Intrigued, Kavi decided to embark on a journey to understand detachment better. He traveled through forests, crossed rivers, and climbed mountains.

During his journey, Kavi met a poor farmer who had lost all his crops. Instead of being sad, the farmer smiled and said, 'I still have my family, and that makes me rich.'

Kavi realized that the farmer was detached from material possessions and found joy in the simple things. This was the first lesson on detachment he learned.

Continuing his journey, Kavi met a young girl who had lost her favorite toy. She smiled and said, 'It's just a toy, I can find new ways to have fun.'

Kavi understood that the girl was detached from the toy and found happiness within herself. This was the second lesson on detachment he learned.

Finally, after many days of traveling, Kavi reached a temple where he met an old monk. The old monk had nothing except a small bedroll, yet he radiated peace and contentment.

The old monk taught Kavi the most important lesson on detachment. He said, 'True detachment is letting go of desires and finding inner peace, even in difficult times.'
