Tilly Turtle was tip-tapping on the tile. Today was her first day of school! Her shell was polished, and she wore a tiny bow on her head. 'Tilly Turtle, off to school,' said Mama Turtle with a smile.

Tilly tiptoed into the classroom. 'Wow!' she whispered. The smell of fresh crayons filled the air, and colorful drawings danced on the walls.

'Hello, Tilly!' chirped Mr. Robin, the teacher. He wore tiny spectacles and had feathers the color of a sunny day. 'Welcome to our world of wonders!'

Tilly's eyes sparkled as she saw her desk. There were colored pencils, paper, and a jar of glitter. 'This is going to be fun!' she thought.

‘Tap, tap, tap,’ went the pencils of her new friends: Benny Bunny, Polly Peacock, and Freddie Frog. They waved their paws, feathers, and webbed feet.

'Let's draw our favorite things!' said Mr. Robin. Tilly drew a big, vibrant sun. Polly Peacock colored a peacock with rainbow feathers. Benny Bunny drew carrot gardens, and Freddie Frog drew a pond with lily pads.

'Time for music!' chirped Mr. Robin. He strummed a tiny guitar while the students sang and danced. Tilly wiggled her shell and sang along. 'La, la, la!'

Next was story time. Mr. Robin opened a big book and started, 'Once upon a twinkling star...'. Tilly and her friends listened with wide eyes and big smiles.

'Recess!' announced Mr. Robin. Tilly and her friends ran outside. They played tag, swung on swings, and slid down slides. Tilly twirled in the grass, feeling the sun's kiss.

Back in class, they painted pictures and made crafts. Tilly carefully glued glitter on her painting. 'Lovely!' praised Mr. Robin. Tilly beamed with pride.

The final bell rang. Mama Turtle was waiting outside. 'How was your day?' she asked. 'It was tremendous!' Tilly exclaimed, showing her creations. Mama Turtle's eyes glowed with joy.

That night, Tilly snuggled into her bed, dreaming of more school adventures. 'School is wonderful,' she thought with a smile. And in her dreams, the magic of the day continued.
