Once upon a time in a cozy, little neighborhood, lived a cat named Biscuit. Biscuit was no ordinary cat; he was a freelance cat!
Every morning, Whiskers would stretch and yawn, Ready to work from dusk till dawn. His whiskers twitched, and his tail would swish, Today’s job list was quite a wish!
First was the bakery run by Mrs. Crumble, Always bustling, never humble. Whiskers would deliver pies, And the customers would never deny a surprise!
Next to visit, Mr. Ted the mailman, Who needed help in any way he can. With Whiskers by his side so true, Every letter got its due.
Whiskers trotted to the park, Meeting friends till it got dark. Lucy the bird and Ben the pup, Their adventures always filled him up.
But today was a different day, A new friend moved in—hooray! A girl named Ann just down the lane, Soft blue eyes and a gentle frame.
Ann was shy, as some kids are, But Whiskers knew just the way to her star. He purred and nuzzled against her feet, Soon enough, they would always meet.
Together they'd roam the entire block, Finding treasures in every rock. A shoelace here, a shiny stone, With Whiskers, Ann was never alone.
One day, a storm cloud grew, The sky turned dark, and the wind blew. Ann was scared, but Whiskers knew, With a flick of his tail, they'd see it through.
They found shelter under Mr. Oak, Whiskers purred, and Ann spoke, She thanked him for his bravery, And from that day on, they were a family.
The storm passed, and the sun began to shine, Whiskers and Ann were just fine. Together they laughed, together they played, In Whiskers' heart, Ann stayed.
So if you wander down their block, And see a friendship that can’t be mocked, Remember Biscuit, the freelance cat turn to full time home with his best friend.
