Once upon a time, in a green and peaceful forest, there lived a curious little hedgehog named Oliver. Oliver had a round and chubby body covered in spikes. These spikes were not just any spikes, they were sharp and could protect Oliver from anything that may harm him.

Oliver loved exploring the forest, but sometimes he would feel sad because the other animals would tease him for his spikes. They would say, 'Why do you have so many spikes? You look so prickly!' This made Oliver feel different and lonely.

One sunny morning, as Oliver was walking near a river, he saw a beautiful butterfly gently fluttering its wings. The butterfly had vibrant colors that sparkled in the sunlight. Oliver felt fascinated by the butterfly and decided to approach it.

But, as Oliver got closer, he noticed a snake slithering through the grass. The snake had wicked eyes and a slimy tongue. It was hungry and wanted to catch the butterfly for its lunch. Oliver knew he couldn't let that happen!

Without hesitating, Oliver rolled himself into a tight ball, and the spikes on his back stood up, forming a shield around him. When the snake tried to attack, it couldn't harm Oliver because of his spikes! The snake quickly realized it was no match for Oliver's defense and slithered away in fear.

The butterfly, amazed by Oliver's bravery, fluttered to him and said, 'Thank you, Oliver! Your spikes saved me from the snake. You may be prickly on the outside, but you have a gentle heart.' Oliver smiled warmly, feeling proud of himself.
