Wiggles, a puppy with fur as white as snow, wagged his tail with glee. Today was the day, oh what a day, for Wiggles to meet Dr. Dee!

With a hop and a skip, and a happy little yip, Wiggles bounded into the car. His tail thumped a beat, on the seat, as they drove very, very far.

The car stopped with a jerk, and Wiggles started to bark. "Woof! Woof!" he exclaimed, a bit alarmed. Was this place a park?

Out he hopped, into a shop, with a wagging tail so bold. Inside, creatures great and small, stood very, very tall!

A furry, striped friend with a purr that never ends, sauntered by with a smile. "Don't be scared, little one," she meowed, "Dr. Dee is worth the while!"

Wiggles tilted his head, a bit confused, indeed. "Worth the while?" he thought, "What does it mean?" He hoped it involved a treat or a feed!

Just then, a voice called out clear, "Wiggles, oh Wiggles, are you here?" A kind face appeared, with a gentle hand that neared. Wiggles felt no fear.

Dr. Dee, with a twinkle in her eye, examined Wiggles, low and high. She listened to his heart, checked every single part, and said, "Wiggles, you're a healthy guy!"

Wiggles licked Dr. Dee's face with a happy, puppy grace. He wagged his tail so fast, it almost flew off at last! This was a happy, happy place!

As they left the shop, Wiggles barked, "Thank you, thank you!" with all his heart. He had made a new friend, his worries at an end, and knew, from the start,

that even a check-up could be an adventure, a happy little spree. Especially with friends, old and new, like Dr. Dee!
