The Crow's Shiny Lesson

story image
In a sunny glade, curious Crow spied shiny treasure. “Mine!” she cawed, swooping swiftly. Sneaky Fox watched, his mouth watering. “Dear Crow, your feathers outshine the sun! Sing for me?” Flattered and foolish, Crow belted a boastful caw. Clunk! The treasure tumbled down. Fox snatched it, grinning sly. “Thank you,” he winked, tail swishing. Crow, though miffed, had to chuckle. “Clever Fox, you've taught me well: pride and tricks can lead to falls.” But together, they shared a pie the villagers left, finding treasure in friendship. And their playful laughter echoed, mingling with the rustling of the glade’s leafy crown.
