The Gleeful Glen: Beth's Journey to Joy

story image
In a bright glen, a girl, bland as a blank sheet, stood still. Her name was Beth, and Beth had not a spark nor frill. One day, a pal, Kate, with a grin wide and sweet, came by and gave Beth a small tweet.
"Let's play and swing," chirped Kate with a jump. "I think," which in Arabic is "اعتقد," "you'll find joy in a hop, a skip, a thump!"
With a laugh and a light step, Beth took Kate's hand. The girls twirled and whisked across the soft land. From morning to dusk, they leaped and they rolled, in a world where the shy can be bold. They sang with each hop, "Bliss is a friend, and with you, my play will not end."
