Scamp and the Lost Mother

There was a cute little squirrel named Scamp. He lived with his mother in the hollow of a tree, and his mother loved him very much.

She would go out every day to gather nuts, then come home to feed Scamp and play with him.

One day, while Scamp's mother was out gathering nuts as usual, a heavy storm came to the forest and heavy rain, so she tried to run away and hide, but the storm was so strong that it swept her away from the house and she got lost in the woods and could not return.

The storm calmed down and the rain stopped. Scamp was waiting for his mother to return. He was afraid and alone.. he didn't know what to do..

Suddenly, he heard a noise outside he put his head out and saw two squirrels that were much bigger than he was, but they didn't look mean.

They were building a new house. Scamp approached them. He asked: Where is my mother?
