Once upon a time in the jungle, Ellie the Elephant and Monty the Monkey were deep in conversation.
"Hey, Monty, have you seen my bananas? I left them right here!" Ellie exclaimed.
"Bananas? No way, Ellie! I'm a monkey, not a banana thief," Monty replied.
"Well, they didn't just walk away. I need those bananas for my snack!" Ellie said worriedly.
"Maybe they grew legs and took a stroll?" joked Monty.
"Monty, bananas don't grow legs! That's just silly," Ellie countered.
"Okay, okay, let's think. Did you check up in the trees? Maybe they decided to climb," Monty suggested.
"Bananas can't climb, Monty. They are not monkeys," Ellie explained.
"True, true. I once tried to teach a banana to swing from vines. It didn't go well," Monty reminisced.
"Monty, you're impossible. I just want my bananas back," Ellie sighed.
"Wait, Ellie, I think I see something yellow over there. Let's investigate!" Monty exclaimed.
As they approached, they discovered a mischievous parrot munching on Ellie's bananas.
"Squawk! Bananas," squawked the parrot mischievously.
