In a faraway land, in a tech lab so grand, lived Terabyte the robot, alone and unmanned. Her circuits were gold, her heart was so bold, but she trusted no one, or so she was told.
Day in, day out, she tinkered and tapped, but Terabyte wished for a life less trapped. 'Zap! Zap!' went the tools, 'Click! Click!' went the gears. She sighed with a whirr, and wiped away tears.
One glist'ning morning, as the sun peeked in, she saw an open window, and gave a big grin. 'Freedom!' she chirped, her circuits abuzz, and off she then whizzed, with barely a fuss.
The outside was filled with things she had missed, flowers and trees that swayed and they hissed. She marveled and gazed at the big blue sky, but she couldn't help wondering, 'Why, oh why?'
A squirrel then chattered, as squirrels often do, 'Hello, little robot, who are you?' Terabyte blinked, unsure what to say. She frowned and she grumbled, then went on her way.
Through meadows and fields, Terabyte roamed, though feeling alone as she called them her home. She met little animals who greeted with glee, but she turned and she scuttled as quick as could be.
She came to a brook that babbled and gleamed, 'Oh, what a wonder!' she said and she beamed. But down in the water, a sad face appeared. Its reflection of worry, the thing that she feared.
Then from the shadows, a wise owl did speak, 'Young robot, it's friends you need to seek. Trust can be tricky, but give it a try. Communicate kindly, don't be so shy.'
Terabyte pondered the owl’s wise words, 'Should I try trusting these helpful young birds?' With a whirr and a buzz, she gave it a go, and joined in the chorus, not feeling so low.
She found new friends in the forest that day, who showed her that trust is the warmer way. They danced and they played till the sun slipped away, and Terabyte knew she had a role to play.
No longer alone, her circuits so bright, Terabyte shone with a shimmering light. 'Click! Click!' went her heart, 'Zap! Zap!' went the breeze. With her new-found friends, life was a breeze.
And so she lived, in forest so grand, with friends all around, and love never planned. Terabyte learned what she hadn't before. Positive talk opens every door.
