Timmy Turtle was nervous. Today was his first visit to Dr. Pearl's office.

Dr. Pearl was kind. She wore glasses and a bright smile. 'Welcome, Timmy!' she said.

Timmy blinked. The chair was big! 'It's like a space rocket,' he thought.

Dr. Pearl showed Timmy the mirror. 'To see your teeth!' she explained.

'Why do we brush?' Timmy asked. 'To keep cavities away,' said Dr. Pearl.

Dr. Pearl brushed a dinosaur's teeth. 'Even dinosaurs need clean teeth!' she chuckled.

'Do cavities hurt?' Timmy was curious. 'They can, but we can fix them!' she assured.

Timmy tried brushing a model mouth. 'Good job!' cheered Dr. Pearl.

Next, they flossed the model teeth. 'Gently between them,' Dr. Pearl guided.

Timmy learned about healthy foods. 'Apples and carrots are tooth-friendly!' he learned.

When it was over, Timmy was smiling. 'See you in six months, Dr. Pearl!'

At school, Timmy told everyone about his visit. 'Taking care of your teeth is fun!' he exclaimed.
